I'm just skeptical about the idea of people installing an app just to create an account, but I don't know how the young generations think.
In any case I can't but think it would be better if it was just a webpage. I was working on something like that with dtonon (npub1000…vwqk) at https://github.com/dtonon/nstart, have you seen it? There is also https://join.the-nostr.org/. I think we need more of these onboarding pages, actually. https://nosta.me/ is great but way too annoying with too many mandatory forms.
