after quite a bit of hassle i finally managed to make audio routing over LAN to one box work !

- server: a raspberry pi 5 + USB sound card
- linux clients: pipewire+pactl w/ module-native-protocol-tcp
- macos clients: airplay + https://github.com/mikebrady/shairport-sync

the latency is reasonable
multiple clients at the same time seems to work fine too, it just mixes the sound
