Maybe instead of using "sats" we should have stayed in the "0.00000001 bitcoins" world. That was at least cool to give people the impression that a bitcoin is this super valuable asset.
I don't disagree with anything you just said, but I think the solution you're trying is potentially even more confusing. I don't have a better idea.
