Now that Hay'at Tarir al-Sham (HTS) have power, what will they do with it? I doubt the propaganda that they are nice guys now. I expect Christians to be persecuted. I expect the US and Israel to now go to war against HTS (a terrorist organisation according to their bookkeeping) in order to keep the country powerless, so that nothing gets in the way of their rape of it, having just secretly assisted HTS in overthrowing Assad. I'm sure HTS didn't know they were being used as a tool to destroy, but won't be allowed to rebuild (unless they can successfully keep US and Israel out... good luck!). But I hope I'm wrong. I am certainly not an expert, I'm just some armchair conspiracy theorest commentator on the Internet. I think Sergei Lavrov had it right when he said that American foreign policy is “motivated by making some trouble and then to see if they can fish in the muddy water.”
