There's some truth in there.

What's missed here though is: the problem is, to a large degree, not one of the individual decisions of these billionaires but rather an emergent problem. Fixing this would need changes to the political/societal system, some coordination. Convincing more than a few of these billionaires to donate most of their wealth is (a) never going to happen and (b) probably wouldn't solve the problem for long, if at all.
