I understand that edit is an interesting and useful functionality, but it has several drawbacks on Nostr. Amethyst is the only that implement *this* kind of edit because others devs agree that the disadvantages are greater than the advantages. There is another proposal (by hodlbod (npub1jlr…ynqn)) that has been discussed and it seems more appropriate.
Btw, long contents (and lists) should probably use the long format, that actually has the edit feature precisely because it is considered important in the writing of an article. Why don't you use it?
