There are a bunch of small, relatively inexpensive #printers on the market that print photos on thermal paper. When I first saw these a few years ago I wanted one, but thermal paper is coated with bisphenol A (a known endocrine disruptor). Also thermal paper isn't archival and the image will deteriorate quickly.

But there are now MORE of these on the market - they seem a lot more popular. Did they fix these issues? Or is it just an "eh who cares, just have fun" situation?
