and they came with appropriate rituals. I was contemplating only yesterday the british habit of passing the port decanter around the table. Always in the same direction. I do not know which direction it was but it was always one direction. I think there was another drink that circulated in the opposite direction. Fortunately I was only ever in a context where these rituals were practiced on one occasion. Now I would call out the bullshit.
