I don't care why it doesn't work. It doesn't work. It's worse than useless, I must manually reboot from the GUI after an update or a CLI reboot just to get rid of the mess. I wouldn't have wanted the feature *even if* it worked, but the fact that it doesn't work makes it even worse. And it can't be turned off.
