Trying (and failing, again) to escape the iron grip of Adobe Lightroom and switch to something else - this time, trying Darktable.

Part of my problem is I have a digital photo library spread across multiple folders stretching back to 2004, which doesn't make any of this quick or easy.

Despite following a guide specifically for doing this, I'm not seeing my edits and all my photos are duplicated (due to my camera shooting RAW+JPG).

Le sigh...
