The current wisdom of food allergies is, apparently, that exposure is good and avoidance is bad because it makes the reaction worse - but my reaction is full-body chronic pain and inflammation at it's present maximum, so I'm trying to fully eliminate where possible. I react to normally-not-allergenic things too, like soy lecithin.

That being said... Because I am by nature curious and I love food, I find that San-J is an improvement over coconut aminos because it has a much more savory-umami flavor profile, where coconut aminos are rather sweet. I have used coconut aminos for dishes that also involve sugar/sweeteners but I detest its distinct flavor in every other context. :(

Do you like coconut aminos?
