Debian has come a really long way. It also seems like it has the most stable and supported builds on the market right now. I made it a point to switch from other major mainstream OSs a couple months ago and honestly haven't gone back. It's much much easier to make the switch to Linux now than it has been in the past since almost everything we do these days is in a browser.
