True enough that we don't know what we are preparing for. My degree from a good Jesuit Liberal Arts institution is in Psychology and what I wound up doing for the last 30 years of my career was to run the IT dept of a bank and a PK-8 grade school district. Sure there was additional training along the way but I learned critical thinking skills, focusing tightly on what people were saying to me as well as how to turn a problem on its side to find a solution from the liberal arts. Wouldnt trade it
