on saying that I sometimes absolutely boggle when I see photos on news articles of some funerals and all the outrageous trappings, must cost a fortune, and so vulgar too! Like weddings, doesn't actually need to bankrupt a person to be done. But yes, the price, it is dreadful and many do need assistance for it now.
Still gasping over what the sods charged us re the rosebush he got done with teensy little plaque for his dad at the crem, almost 500!!! And apparently they can move it after x amount of time and make you repay of you want it left there. The absolute fucking fuckers! Scandalous. I don't like crem, but the old boy requested it, more sodding hassle and aggro than a straight forward burial in my opinion.
