Hey Boston area voters! There is an unexpectedly important primary for the Governor’s Councillor. Among other things, they appoint judges. Mara Dolan is the challenger, and has promised to support only pro-choice judges. Marilyn Petitto Devaney has been in the seat for 25(!) years, and has confirmed anti-choice judges. Devaney’s argument is that Dolan should not be elected because she is a lawyer. However, Dolan is not just any lawyer — she is a public defender. If you are filling out early voting ballots, think about voting for a change.
