Five years for the thug who incited violence against the Chief Medical Officer. Let all inciters of violence-against-the-person on social media take note. Incitement to violence is a crime in the UK. Our country is not "anything goes" Elon-land. If you take your cue here from the cesspits of unmoderated hatespeech which are permitted to flourish elsewhere, expect consequences. The law here protects us all against mob-rule, and especially-so for public servants discharging their duty.
