Finally started with #startrek discovery season 5, but was kind of disappointed with the first episode tbh. If I didn't know the characters, I'd have double-checked whether I wasn't watching Star Wars by accident! So much pew-pew-pew, racing scenes (Even the music sounded like Star Wars pod racing!), close-up combat, space-operesqe starfleet reception... ! 🙁
Anyone else who felt this way?
Does it get better?
I love discovery, but this is a development I saw in all recent trek - not a fan...
