Wow, nasty—there was an EZPass toll transponder on the windshield of the rental car, and I got hit with a $9.90 service fee for using it (for $2.00 in actual tolls). No warning, no consent, and the box was already in the open configuration.
Definitely going to contest this, and I suspect there's a class-action suit possible here.
