I was forced to listen to that shane gillis guy and he's a total quisling, he's a perfect creature for the industry to use to corral white guys back into the media landscape. They hear a guy who used to be a normal white dude like them and think he's one of their own, but he's just as hollywood as every other faggot-ass comic that took a swing at fame.
He's got a few chuckles but something about him really grosses me out, this gnawing sense that normiecons are so hungry for "normal" again they're reading it in someone who doesn't have much of it left. In time Gillis will have to keep swatting his boomercon fandom away from his heels, lest he pick up too much chud-stink from their enthusiasm. He'll seesaw between normal, placid "it's not my business what people do in their own bedrooms man" dem-conservatism and more extreme "hey it's all fun and games but seriously being really right wing as a white guy is fucked, don't do it"
I base this take off like, 3 eps of his podcast and a couple of those skits he did. Is there anything concrete I can point to? Eh, I didn't take notes so I'm calling this shot using my instinct - I have a gut-level distaste for where things will go with gillis: In 20 years you might find him even more irritating than carlin.
