Trudeau mentions the failure of electoral reform. Claiming they had no support from other parties, which is... a lie or omission... since the NDP has long supported electoral reform. The LPC wouldn't even acknowledge the report. They ran on it and won a majority. That's all the support needed.
I've always understood the opposition to electoral reform cimes from within the LPC, and nothing has changed that today.
