Good news: new over-the-counter continuous glucose monitors cost less than prescription versions and don't require the song and dance of getting a pro forma prescription. Bad news, "Apple Health support" does not mean that the associated app will actually send your blood glucose info to Apple Health, just that it'll ask to import some basic stats from Apple Health. Boo! There actually doesn't seem to be any way to export my data at all, which is certainly fascinating and going to make for a fun subject access request!
