I'm fairly certain that the chicks in this nest have been dining on Monk Parakeets because every time I travel out to Pelham Bay Park there is a Red-tailed Hawk sitting on the lights where their nests are. And the Monk Parakeet nests are quiet so they know a predator is nearby.
