Small electric vehicles like bicycles and scooters occupy far less space, which makes better solutions possible. A clear separation between big and small vehicles is an important part of planning for a less car-focused infrastructure, IMHO. Also — as small vehicles need far less charging power, it will be far easier and cheaper to install them.
