I'm guessing that Alice from Bolton, that 'valiant Senior Citizen' you were so supportive of in the OP, would have wanted more than smoke and mirrors. She looks like someone who knows the smell of bullshit, Tory and Labour. I think it was dishonest to use her as a selling point for Starmer when she was voting for Labour on a Corbyn manifesto.
If I were her, standing across the street from No 10 when Starmer takes up residence, well, I'd feel disappointed, even cheated.
