I got a follow-up call from the place that did my kids' assessments and they were like "did it help? How's it going? Did you get onto the therapists' waiting lists at least?" And all I could say was one place called me back and said they can't help, and one kid's school found her eligible for services and immediately kicked her out to go get them elsewhere. So now my day is about being knocked on my ass by feeling like I've irredeemably fucked this all up
