I grew up Catholic. Went to a private Catholic school K-8th grade, and as a young child, I was OBSESSED with Jesus.

I could recite the entire mass, and I wanted to be a priest.

I'm #AuDHD and took the story of Jesus VERY literally. To little me, "Love Thy Neighbor" meant exactly what it said. So I loved my neighbors, the planet, and everyone with all of my heart.

I felt very close to God and very close to Jesus when I was in 2nd and 3rd grade.

Then they told me I couldn't be a priest because only men can be priests.
