As much as I hate Twitter and am not exactly fond of Musk, I have to say that allowing everyone to have a checkmark is great. If your issue is proving your identity, there are better ways to do it, and it's funny to see people trying to make it seem like a social issue. It's just pixels on a screen my dude, you can't convince me to worry about something so meaningless.
