I was working at Stanford on the "structure generator" for the DENDRAL project in Lisp. I made thiese features for Lisp/360 & we were switching to BBN-LISP. Warren Teitelman came by and I showed this listing to him as something we wanted in BBN Lisp.
It was after this meeting that PARC hired me in 1973 (part-time; I didn't finish my thesis until 1980).
