Bill De Blasio was a good mayor. he had to fight constant threats to his life and the life of his wife and kids BY THE NYPD THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO FOLLOW HIS ORDERS. why? because they are still Bloomberg's private army.
De Blasio wasn't able to staunch all the damage of 20 years of Giuliani and Bloomberg corruption, but we wouldn't have the infrastructure to deal with COVID had he had not focused on expanding NYC's public hospital and clinic system.
