There aren't clear rules for appeals other than colors of paper etc. I think its mostly lawyers going with their gut for each case.

I have a decision to make with the civil appeal. Do we want to file a motion asking to pause everything in the case until the appeal is done?

If we don't pause then we continue with Apple fighting discovery, me filing motions to compel, Apple lying about me to a Judge behind my back...

I'm thinking there's more reward in waiting & doing discovery with all claims
