We have decided to increase the size of our flock. đ I wanted to add 6 birds, and I wanted ameraucanas. Of course those are not available locally, so I had to order them. 6 is a dumb number of chicks to mail, so I went with a dozen. However, 12 chickens required a small order fee of $35, so it was cheaper to buy 15 chicks. Then at checkout we found that an order of 15 chicks qualified us for a free mystery chick đĽ
And that's how a desire for 6 birds leads to ordering 16.
