I made my second batch of tallow soap this morning.
Even though we just started using the first batch I thought it prudent given the cure time and that the entire house is now using it.
I'm surprised at how much I enjoy it.
Having been raised in the time of Ivory, Irish Spring, and Zest, I was expecting more of the soap scum. I remember having that dry nasty feeling on your skin that the new body washes were to remedy.
But none of that. It lathers well, goes on well, washes off well.
The whole family has enjoyed it and all the specialized bottles of junk have been removed from the bathroom.
