wellc, there's much more media that can accrue outside of the "attachments" and "posts" category. Each user has banners and profile pics as well and that adds up quickly too. You have to clear out old deleted accounts from remote servers and optionally clear out banners and icons periodically as well.

I like this article from Ricard Torres (npub1yfx…907w) to clean all of these things up. Though, the one that's "remove headers" I changed to "prune profiles" which also removes profile pics.
