My husband did the transition few years ago and it was kinda scary at first. It came subtle, the interest in grilling, new screwdrivers. Then bigger tools made him insanely happy. Then he started being funny, that came along with showering in cold water and loving steaks. Now he's thermostat guarding freak running around apartment switching lights off in rooms where we still are.🤨
