I can sometimes tell when someone new has moved into the apartment next to mine by a change in the way my apartment smells. (It's an old drafty building.)

This past week, whenever I walk to the side of my apartment that adjoins the other unit, it smells like I've just stepped inside a very large bong.

Definitely someone new.

Or someone old with a new hobby. 🤷‍♀️
