I had a lot of respect for Elon. He did something with the electric car that has truly transformed the industry and laid a pattern for future development and competition.
However, I do not respect his involvement in the sewer of right wing politics. It is a poor business decision in my opinion.
Many of the purchasers of battery operated cars and trucks are people trying to do what is right for the environment and most of these folks are not Republican.
