Skin color isn't going anywhere. So it's far better to respect everyone, regardless of appearance. Saying we are all the same is a cop out. Because the truth is we aren't , culturally.
Respecting and seeking to understand is better than just saying we are the same.
Same doesn't encourage discovery or growth. Love requires understanding, empathy, patience, kindness and long-suffering.
Saying everyone is like saying all siblings in a family are the same. Half the people that say there is no color, just humans. Can't even have a meaningful conversation with their own family.
