Not all Nostriches are Bitcoiners. They don't understand Zaps or know that Zaps are Bitcoin or even have Bitcoin themselves!
Clients could add sats to their onboarding process. Successfully add a banner and profile pic? Get 5 sats. Add a bio? Get 5 sats. Explain what sats are, how they're used in Zaps, and if they complete their profile with a Lightning wallet, they'll get the sats they've earned deposites into their wallet, and earn 5 more sats for adding the Lightning address. Then, the final stage of the onboarding process would be tell the user to go out there and Zap their first note.
The only issue with the above scenario would be users or bots farming free sats by creating infinite new npubs. Clients would have to track device IDs and/or IP addresses to help minimize the impact.
