#WritersCoffeeClub 19. What are the top five things you've learned on your writing journey?
1. There's always more to learn and improve, and that's amazing!
2. Discussing ideas with friends can be far more fun working on them alone all the time.
3. I need an outline, biographies, the whole plotter toolkit, to feel immersed in the story.
4. The first draft isn't supposed to be pretty, it's supposed to give me a story from beginning to end.
5. Characters. Without them, the story is nothing.
