We have an IKEA speaker at home that we use to watch movies, and somehow it's difficult to find the right volume on it. Sometimes the same level feels too low, sometimes too high.

Today I used a different, fancier speaker to watch the same movie, and I actually found it was way easier to find a level that was just right, neither too loud nor too quiet.

Why??? Do different speakers have different... volumes... that makes no sense.
