The Tower Building in the Rockvilla area of Glasgow. It was built in the 1870s for James Allen who ran the nearby Elmbank Foundry, one of the major iron foundries in Glasgow. Amongst other things, this foundry produced architectural ironwork for the likes of J.J. Burnet and Alexander 'Greek' Thomson. This includes the railings and the lamps on the steps of Thomson's Great Western Terrace, and if you look carefully you can still see the Elmbank Foundry's stamp on them.
