"Mine"
A Bitcoin Sitcom
Episode 1: The Arrival
Cold Open:
The camera opens on a dusty, deserted road in Nowhere, Montana. The only sound is the distant hum of cicadas and the occasional crow cawing. Suddenly, a beat-up pickup truck, overloaded with solar panels and what looks like computer hardware, rumbles into view, kicking up dust.
The truck pulls up outside an old, dilapidated barn. Out steps Gerald, a man in his late 30s, dressed in tech-startup casual, looking around with excitement. He's followed by Butch, who looks like he's been dragged out of bed, wearing a fishing hat and a flannel shirt, clearly not as thrilled.
GERALD
(Clapping his hands together)
"Alright, Butch, this is it! The start of something big!"
BUTCH
(Yawning)
"Yeah, big headache. You do know we're in the middle of nowhere, right?"
Gerald starts unloading equipment with enthusiasm while Butch reluctantly helps, more focused on his phone.
Gerald sets up a solar panel, connecting it to a laptop. The screen lights up, showing a Bitcoin mining dashboard.
GEARLD
(Grinning)
"And there it is, Butch. The future. Magic internet money, powered by the sun!"
BUTCH
(Looking skeptical)
"And what exactly are we mining for again? Gold? Diamonds?"
GERALD
"Bitcoin, Butch. Digital gold. And we're doing it green."
Butch looks confused, then shrugs as he pulls out a beer from the cooler in the back of the truck.
BUTCH
"Well, as long as it pays for more of these, I'm in."
The camera zooms out as they continue to set up, the barn slowly transforming into a makeshift tech hub against the backdrop of rural Montana.
The screen fades to black, and the title "Mine" appears with a quirky, upbeat theme song playing in the background.
