Maybe you've only encounter good developers before, but lots are lazy at directions and bad at planning, and it gets hard to tell them from the well intentioned but ignorant.
I'm seeing a patch that didn't follow the standards or directions, and is doing things without comment or explanation that seems like obvious mistakes.
