Which is better for Bitcoin?
1. We risk a hard fork and NFTs stay on Ethereum. The Bitcoin blockchain is NOT clogged with jpegs. Weirdos must buy Eth to peddle jpegs, and consequently become entrenched in shitcoin culture; but Bitcoin hopefully remains pure.
2. NFTs stay on Bitcoin and weirdos leave Ethereum to buy BTC, clogging up the blockchain; but consequently sending them down the Bitcoin rabbit hole so that they run their own node and learn why NFTs are ignorant.
I know this sounds like I favor NFTs, but I cannot stress enough how important it is to keep blocks small. The idea that "storage will get cheaper" was the same argument used by bCashers, but running a full node needs to be cheap enough for everyone in the world.
I guess it’s happening, so I’m trying to find some good in all this.
