Fundamentalist ants have a hard time accepting that they "evolved from wasps" though strictly speaking every ant is a wasp. Wasps aren't more primitive, just differently adapted.
But, ants wonder how any creature that keeps it's wings for her whole life (like a child! Like a reckless youth who hasn't built anything!) could possibly be "well adapted" ... how could you dig tunnels like that?
