Any C++ programmer here? It has been a while since I wrote C++ but I am considering migrating an old C project to a small subset of C++ so that I can get better type safety (like proper string type etc) with minimum effort. I am not planning to use Rust at this point for this project. Have tried and the amount of work is a lot more than what I can put in, in my free time. Any thoughts?
