If your power company has a “even rate” where they average your previous years usage and give you whatever that averages out to as your rate. “Read the terms and conditions” they DO vary.. and some RE- adjust if you use more than 200% more than the previous year. After 6 months they can change your rate to adjust “they said” *my company never checked** considering my bill said my usage increased 1435% I changed my rate BACK to normal “rate” on day 364. NO square up bill. And nobody calls.. you can do most of this on your phone app.

Another company I know of is only 50% and they can RE-adjust after 3 months AND you have to square up” That is a one way trap… they definitely aren’t going to write you a check at the end of the year if you used Less than the previous year.

Some will appreciate this info. some won’t know why I’m even posting this.
