Often when I am doing photo sessions, I stand on whatever I can find to get a better aim at the stage. Most of the time, I steal a chair from the audience if there are empty seats. Tonight was the case. I was in the front row, trying to capture all the speakers talking to the audience members, while standing on one of the chairs. In my ten years of photographing people this way, I have ALMOST fallen once. But even then I caught myself, and the old man thought he helped, smiling and saying you trying to fall into my arms. So it made the evening better for him. Anyhoo, back to tonight. I am standing there, trying to get the best pics of all the interactions. Some guy comes up to me while I am standing there taking photos, and says, "be careful."... I shrug and ran across five other chairs to show him.
