Are there any studies on the sustainability of batteries, specifically car batteries?
Had a discussion earlier where someone claimed that electric cars, specifically their batteries, are bad for the environment.
I know there are some concerns around that but what often gets overlooked are also the alternatives. Anyway, this was in French and my means to combat the claim where limited by both facts on hand and eloquence.
