Interesting way to look at this.I have never thought about that way. However, I would throw one consideration in the ring: When they talk about the slowness of human behavior being slow at 10bits/s, they are only using conscious perception examples. The speed of data processing that we are all doing all the time subconsciously - interpreting the thousands/millions of visual stimuli, smells and sounds when racing down a hill with unknown terrain on a bicycle and adjusting posture, direction and steering within split seconds for example - far exceeds this throughput capacity greatly. It's still human behavior but it's just that this happens subconsciously.
